As a team of interdisciplinary researchers, we have collectively honed several academic methodologies. Our research approach is iterative and collaborative, and we are committed to creating appropriate and accessible solutions for our clients. 

We are interested in:

Sample projects —

“Toward a Feminist City of Surrey”, funded by the Feminist Recovery Grant (FRG), is a three-year project which will enables City in Colour to support City of Surrey in their goals of hiring, retaining and supporting racialized women.
IGUA (International Geo-Urban Association) and IGS (International Graduate Students) are two groups founded by some of our members to support and advocate for international students in the Urban Studies program and in Simon Fraser University. 
 Our members are experienced researchers and have all completed their Masters of Arts in Urban Studies at Simon Fraser University (SFU). Thesis research topics included: shared housing, temporary urbanism, 15-minute communities and safety.
