Our inaugural project involved engaging with a broad range of communities, including scholars, students, and underserved groups, through a combination of in-person engagements and social media outreach. We received an overwhelming response, with a total of 63 submissions in the form of text, photographs, and drawings, representing a variety of languages including English, Farsi, Japanese, and Spanish.

Our final product was a short video that artfully showcased these submissions, providing a powerful visual representation of the diverse perspectives and experiences of our community members. This video was presented during the concluding webinar session of the SFU Urban Studies Pandemonium series entitled "Taking it to the streets," which took place on March 25th, 2021.
